Windows 7 is ROCK!
Windows 7 introduces support for search federation to remote data stores using OpenSearch technologies that enable users to access and interact with their remote data from within Windows Explorer.
the benefit integrating this technology with our data source is the user can get all of their information by using the already familiar Windows Explorer user interface, enhance their searching experience, this is a great things. as developer view, we no need waste our time to build a client software to retrieve their information from the data source.

Windows 7 and xp mode
Finally, I got Windows 7 professional and installed in my laptop.
yup,it not RC version, is the final release version.
Thank you Microsoft and Tarc, very very excited, haha. I want to say, I really see the benefits of working with it, I love it. But I unable to run the aero effect , because the graphic card driver issue, I can’t get 64 bit graphic card driver of my laptop. T.T
you can see the default wallpaper change already. no more betta fish wallpaper, no more RC watermark.
More exciting is the XP mode in windows 7, you can check here. xp mode in windows 7 not just a virtualization machine, those software or application that you install in visual machine, can run on your windows 7 desktop too.
here you can see the visual studio 2010 beta1I install in my visual pc.
it can run and launch in Windows XP Mode directly from a Windows 7 desktop( But the header still remind xp style ).
