Sleepless in FYP
发表评论spend 2 days to do my Final Year Project graphic user interface design and develop freelance project, today skip whole day class, feel guilty. didn’t sleep much, feel very very very tired and very worry, next week have to submit something to supervisor. Other than FYP, I still got 2 programming assignment on hand, which is web service and distributed computing system, and many test coming soon, suffering. I don’t understand why TARC students always rush their assignment in last minute, this is culture or what?
I working hard for my FYP right now and don’t know my partner doing what right now? sleeping or study or rushing FYP too?
rush 2 days in Graphic Interface design, spend much time in matching colour, no colour sense mah, I plan to use other colour to create another feel to users, but I am fail, who know me very well sure know my design style is Black Colour, so better choose back my farvorite colour- black as my theme colour, hahaha. Finally come out something. My housemate ask me you are designer or programmer? hahahahaha, I am also a designer I answer. I very enjoy in designing GUI, because I will be the UX designer in future, hahaha.

I always pay attention to UI design and UX (user experience) design, although after graduation I will be a web programmer in a small company(since I sign contract already), but I hope one day I can become a UX designer.

I do not have extra time to decorated my desktop after start my internship. So this few days I take some time to decorated my desktop.
my May 2009 desktop, with my design style, simple. theme name call personality. during this training period I found out 1 thing, When design integrate with business, it will become no personality, everything commercialize, what your think is not what your finished product. you just a tool, based on client idea, even you think this is not the best design, but client requirement you must follow. For me, design is personality, is your sense, your own idea and your experience, based on this to find solution to client.

before commercialization, let me create “personality”, even this is not the best design, but at least is my personality.
I can’t found any creativity in my working environment, but I understand this is business. 6 months after, I also will be commercialized?

today 8am something arrived my company, nothing to do, because my working hour is 9am to 6pm, other times I do not do any working stuff. So used this 1 hour to create this card for my mother, since mother day coming mah, haha. I am quite filial piety le.
